property but still scratching your head about what to pack? How many beach
wears and how many evening dresses? If you have a (very) long list of
essentials that you are finding difficult to fit in an average suitcase, we
think some packing help is in order. We want you to have the most fun, stress

What’s a beach vacation without swimsuits! Pack at least 3 swimsuits, but the number depends on the duration of your visit and how often you plan to hit the tides. Tunics and t-shirts can be used as cover ups at the beach and for outings in the evening. Evening/formal dresses for fine dining, causal tops and jeans for shopping and fun day out and gym wear should be packed. If you are spending winter in Myrtle Beach, pack a sweater, fleece or shawl, depending on how low the temperature is going to drop. A pair of reliable walking shoes and wedges and athletic footwear is must. Add a pop of color to your evening attire with some nice jewelry or clutch.
DO NOT forget to pack sunscreen for the whole family – it’s you guard against a nasty sunburn. Sunglasses, lip balm and flip flops are a must, and maybe a hat for the chic look. For the kids, get toys, sand buckets, swimming diapers and inflatable floats. You might want to carry beach towels and umbrellas.
Travel size toiletries should include, shampoo, conditioner,
body wash, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, razors and
shaving gel. Makeup remover, baby wipes, sanitizers, stain remover and tissues
are also very useful items.
All Myrtle Beach vacation rentals have the washer/dryer among other useful amenities. Just pack a laundry detergent so you don’t have to worry about taking back dirty laundry.

culinary items but you might want to carry extra paper products for quick clean
ups and beach picnics.
If you are running out of any medication that you take regularly, buy extra stock for the vacation. If you, kids or pets suffer from motion sickness, ask your doctor about a prescription for the condition beforehand. A pain reliever in your purse is always a good idea. If it’s that time of the year, do carry tampons.
